Friends,
As America’s 233rd birthday approaches, we take pause to reflect on what it means to be a part of the incredible experiment in freedom and liberty known as the United States of America. We are profoundly indebted to God’s providence, the brave men and women who have fought and died for our nation, and the founders who had the good sense to limit and prevent the abuse of power.

As we celebrate together with friends and family, it is important to recognize the preciousness of freedom while remaining aware of its fragile position. Freedom quietly slips through the fingers of the unaware and unconcerned, and the principles upon which this nation was founded depend on civic awareness and engagement.
Life, liberty, family and perseverance are treasured in America. Tomorrow, we will benefit from the fruit borne out of our respect for these things.
As you sit under the glow of fireworks, munching on hot dogs and hamburgers, take a moment to discuss the future of our great nation, its history and its ideals with your family. Tell your children why we celebrate the Fourth of July, and what it means to be an American. Ask a friend what he or she thinks about our Country’s current direction and what you can do to put our nation on the right path.
We at the Republican Party of Louisiana want to wish you a happy, fun-filled Fourth. Enjoy the time you have together with family and friends, and keep in mind the principles that have brought us this far.
Sincerely,
Roger F. Villere, Jr., Chairman
Republican Party of Louisiana
Thanks a lot for sharing………..
