Love to see a real balance sheet audit after this bond sales transaction happens but we never will see it. Or it will be a bunch of bull -- just like the artificially low unemployment numbers or CPI that dis-includes energy or food... Just more spin for the mindless masses, more frustration for the people in the know, and more money for the few manipulators who continue to wreck the system for their personal benefit. This is not about conspiracy. This is about money! I am tired of hearing about conspiracy theories when it all boils down to "MONEY! and the thieves who steel it" - use their bought media to spin it -- use their political connections to protect their operation. That is all it is about -- money -- nothing more and nothing less.

While I don't want the government involved in medical care at all, and am glad Senator Appel is willing to take a public position against it, I wonder what his position would have been had Mitt Romney (one of the contenders for the Republican nomination) won. While govenor of Massachusetts, he put the same kind of mandatory "insurance" requirment and public "option" in place that Obama is trying to ram down the whole country's throat. It's not enough to be against this kind of garbarge when the Democrats try to impliment it, people have to oppose it when the Republicans try to put it in place as well. Had Romney or McCain won we'd be getting the same thing only the GOP wouldn't be opposing it. (Anybody remember Bush's prescription drug entitlement?)

As for Mary Landrieu, I wouldn't hold my breath. She is always for sale to the highest bidder, and always succedes in buying re-election by bribing the people of the state with a little of the money taken from them under threat of imprisionment (yes, that's what taxes are). As a perfect example look at the fact that she refuses to co-sponsor a simple one-page bill, (S604) which all of our representatives and our other senator have co-sponsored, and which would require a real audit of the federal reserve. Her excuses are lame and vary from week to week, but the truth probably has more to do with the fact that er largest campaign contributor was the wall street investment bank, JP Morgan Chase which was bailed out by the federal reserve.

Mary Landrieu may vote against some forms of the medical power grab, but only if it gets her campaign donations or a deal for a cushy lobbying job like a previous senator from Lousiana.

Dear Senator,
Thank you for your letter. We can' afford CAP and trade and we surely don't need the healthcare reform being pushed on us by the Obama government. Medicaid covers the poor, and Medicare covers the aged.
The economy will improve if Obama and his cronies will just leave it alone or better yet stop taxing it to death. Increased taxes and increased interference in our lives will not help. Also, as an RN, I do not want to be forced into assisting with abortions and suicide among the elderly. A society is judged on how it cares for the weakest among its citizens. I fear how we will be judged by the future generations. Again, thank you for helping us to let Mary Landrieu know how we feel, so she can vote the way that will help her constituents, the state of Louisiana, and our great country.

Dear Senator:
When you vote, vote so that you enjoy or suffer the SAME consequences that we your constituents (your boss) will enjoy or suffer. You should be under the same health care restrictions or benefits (or program) that we are under. You should be limited by CAP and Trade legislation like we are. Nearly all, if not all, our Federal elected and appointed officials do NOT suffer what they legislate or inflict on us. You have and live by a different set of rules and benefits. You will not suffer the Universal Health Care Bill. You will not suffer the results of CAP and Trade. You do not suffer the down turns of the economy or lose your jobs like we do. You do not suffer the results of Section VIII or low & moderate income housing (whatever the pseudonym being used at this moment). You do not save and risk your money for a home to find that all of a sudden there are drugs, gangs, shootings, loud noise, etc. across the street and next door. Your children and grandchildren do not go to the public school system that was destroyed decades ago by Federal mandates. In other words, do not tell us, "Do as I say, not as I do." NOTE: Orwellian pigs live in the farm house and sleep in the farmer's bed and all the while declare themselves as equal to the other animals (just a little more equal).

Senator Landrieu and All elected officials,
Americans are now getting involved in their governments both local and federal at a astonishing rate. They are becoming more educated and collecting the facts. They no longer will let the pundints tell them their ideologies and accept it as fact. They have done their research and are armed with the facts. So be on notice that we the American Citizens will expect you to do as you were elected to do and that is to take our voices back to both our local and federal governments and vote the way the majority demands not the way the lobbyist or the big corps want. We did not put you in office to line your own pockets at the taxpayers expense or to insure that you get re-elected. If you wait until an election year to become aware of what the people want we will hold you accountable. Spending is out of control , the majority is being ignored and people are scared for the first time in their lives of losing their liberties. That is tyranny!! We are ask to SNITCH on our neighbors and radio talk shows are under grave pressure, especially conservative and Christian stations. I was a life long democrate until a year and a half ago and for all of the reasons listed above I became a proud INDEPENDENT. I believe in the first ammendment and will not quit speaking up. I am not a part of a mob, a nazi or UN-American. I do not want government run health care and am not for cap and trade. I want to have the freedom to choose my doctor and the care I receive. I don't want cap and trade passed thus driving our companies over seas and along with them more American jobs. There are enough people suffering right now under the debt and unemployment without adding to it. I want you and other elected officials to put American Citizens first and quit worrying about if Illegal Immigrants have access to our school and health care system at our expense. Please vote NO to any public run health care as it will only open up the door for future abuse and a single payer system. Vote NO to cap and trade and help us get back on the path to the REPUBLIC we were given under our Constitution and Bill of Rights
