Villere: Obama’s 2nd 100 Days Worse Than The First
Posted in From the Chair, Press Releases Posted by Administrator on Aug 06, 2009Louisiana Republican Party Chairman Roger F. Villere, Jr. issued the following statement today on President Obama’s first six months in office:
“In the first 200 days of the Obama Administration, we have seen our economy decline while government grew as Obama leads our nation farther and farther to the left. His massive “stimulus” plan has added trillions to our national debt even as an additional 2.5 million Americans lost their jobs. His Administration has pursued a national energy tax that will devastate Louisiana families with higher costs and force thousands of jobs to simply disappear. Additionally, Obama and his liberal allies in Washington are attempting to ram though government-run healthcare that will put Washington bureaucrats in charge of our medical decisions and crush small businesses with increased taxes. And Obama’s reckless decision to close Guantanamo Bay without any plan where those suspected terrorists may go has done nothing to make America safer.
Louisiana cannot take another 100 days of this kind of ‘leadership’ and the time to take action is now. Please visit www.lagop.com or www.BarackObamaExperiment.com to learn how you can tell President Obama and Congressional Democrats to stop their costly and risky experiments on America.”
