Fellow Conservatives -
It wasn’t Barack Obama’s big-government liberal agenda that caused massive gridlock in Los Angeles yesterday – it was just his attendance at one of his many high dollar fundraising events aimed at protecting Democrats whose seats are in jeopardy due to that agenda.
The colossal traffic jam resulted from Obama’s motorcade and speech last night which blocked numerous streets and turned in to hours of delays. Even the left-wing Huffington Post put the ordeal into perspective saying:
“As the White House tweeted about Potus meeting the Hollywood West Wingers, LA’s usually-snarled Westside traffic stood still. Moms and dads couldn’t get home. Child care providers raked in the after-hour penalties. The liberals once flooded with hope had nothing but road rage for their inconsiderate president, as they tuned in their car radio to find he was keeping them from their families to raise big bucks for a Congress, which has an approval rating only slightly north of Al Qaeda”
Unfortunately for middle-class commuters in Los Angeles, they were unable to accomplish their agenda of getting home to their families by circumventing a president who seems to have no trouble evading a populace opposed to Obamacare, increased government spending, and a failed record on job creation.
Obama has proven over the last 18 months he’s willing to jam debt on to future generations, jam employers and employees with taxes, and jam an unpopular healthcare reform bill down the throats of the American people. He’s jamming up Louisiana’s economy with an arbitrary and capricious drilling moratorium and when he visits Louisiana next week he’ll likely jam up New Orleans traffic for hours and drive up the cost of government services.
As voters head to the polls this November, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to do much about Obama’s traffic jams, but they can and will send the message that jamming through a reckless and irresponsible big government agenda has consequences.
Sincerely,
Charlie Davis, Deputy Chairman

CQ: Vitter Continues to Dominate Money Chase in Louisiana
“Louisiana GOP Sen. David Vitter raised just over half a million dollars in just over five weeks since July 1, according to pre-primary fundraising reports released Monday. That total was enough to more than double the total raised by Vitter’s top Democratic opponent … who pulled in just $233,000 over the same time period. Vitter’s fundraising dominance over Melancon during the pre-primary period is the continuation of a trend that has dogged Democrats in the Bayou State race ever since Melancon decided to challenge the first term Senator.” link
