Republican Party of Louisiana Releases 2012 Preliminary Caucus Results
Louisiana Republicans caucused across the state this morning, electing 150 delegates to the 2012 Louisiana Republican State Convention. Complete but unofficial returns, compiled from caucus leaders telephoning results into State Party Headquarters, are detailed below. Preliminary winners are highlighted in yellow and those who are currently tied with a possibility of winning a delegate or alternate spot are highlighted in red. If the candidates remain tied once the results are deemed official, the LAGOP Executive Committee will conduct a drawing to determine the winners. The LAGOP staff will be working throughout the week to verify these results. Once the results are official, they will be posted on lagop.com and lacaucus2012.com.
Hello. Four family members and friends drove with me to LaPlace to vote for SLATE 7. That was 5 votes in District 6 for Slate 7. Another friend of mine voted for Slate 7earlier that day. That totals 6 votes. Just the short time that we were at the caucus, from 11:15 am to 12 noon, it seemed that more than 10 voters cast their ballots. What’s with the low number at the Laplace Quality Inn voting poll? We also took pictures of our ballots with our driver’s licenses to document our votes. Just trying to keep the count honest. I’m wondering if any other Ron Paul supporters voted for Ron Paul in Laplace Saturday morning. Please come forth and reply. Thank you, Liz
Using these results you post here, I can see which Pres Candidate’s slate won the state. But are you going to officially announce that information – who won the most delegates in La.?
Where do I see how many delegate Ron Paul won? Thanks.
Re: Liz Andre
Most of the voters in the LaPlace area are in Congressional District 2. You and your friends voted in Congressional District 6. Please look at CD2 results for the rest of the voters in LaPlace.
