  1. John Barron says:

I have a question. A question that I feel needs to be addressed for all tax payers.

When the president takes Air Force One*, his private jet, across the country to campaign for Democrats, members of his part; why isn’t the cost for using Air Force One billed to the Democratic party? Why should Republicans and independent voters pay for the president’s campaigning expenses?

Wouldn’t video conferencing be just as efficient and more appropriate? Hasn’t Obama heard of going “green”? Utilizing Air Force One to jaunt around the country isn’t exactly sending a positive message to the unemployed, and those who are loosing their homes in foreclosure due to the economic downturn.

I’m really surprised no one has questioned this expenditure before.

Could you tell me who I need to contact to bring this to the attention of the voting public and other political parties?

I already pay enough in taxes. I can’t afford to pay for the president’s travel expenses. Please provide any information or a source that could answer this question. I will continue asking this question until I get an acceptable response.

    * The last I heard, it cost over $250,000.00 to use Air Force One. This is for fuel, pilot, co-pilot, and security; both on board and at the destination.
